Manami Morita Plays First Night Boston
Fun, endearingly off-kilter jazz pianist Manami Morita, a 2008 Berklee grad, performs the first set of the evening at 6:30 p.m. Jazz.com said, "a Japanese dynamo . . . sophisticated beyond her years, with a steady, lilting groove." Morita is joined in her longtime trio by fellow Berklee alumni Zak Croxall on bass and Tom Hartman on drums.
