In exile or retirement from centers of political power, Tang dynasty poets examined enduring values of friendship, imagination, and nature.  Their poetry still speaks to our creative spirit and surmounts the thousands of years, miles, and cultural differences that separate us.  Speaking with the ancients through music, David Fiuczynski and the Planet MicroJam Institute welcome you to a dialogue of words and melodies between the tang dynasty and the present day.

Featuring: David Fiuczynski on fretted and fretless guitar; Steve Chiuh on erhu and violin; Sam Mengsteab on microtonal keyboards and sounds; Justin Schornstein on bass; Jharis Yokley on drums; D.J. Hatfield on poetry and commentary; and Joseph Coroniti, moderator and poetry.
