Best Inventions is a recital of the best student projects from the CP 212 (Tonal Counterpoint 2) course from the previous year, presented by Composition Department faculty member and pianist Marti Epstein. An invention is an imitative, contrapuntal Baroque-style piece. These pieces represent Berklee students' unique ability to absorb and create within a pre-existing style. They show deep understanding of the subject matter coupled with the drive to be original.
