Denny Dias / Lisa Jason
Denny Dias is the legendary guitarist and founding member of Steely Dan who recorded on the band's early albums, including Can’t Buy a Thrill, Countdown to Ecstasy, and Aja. He is well known for his guitar solos on “Do It Again,” “Bodhisattva,” and “Your Gold Teeth ll.” In 1991 he joined Toto on its Summer Festival Tour. In 1992 he performed alongside such legendary musicians as Michael McDonald, Don Henley, Donald Fagen, Boz Scaggs, Eddie Van Halen, George Harrison, and David Crosby in a tribute concert for Jeff Porcaro.
Lisa Jason has worked with the original cast of "Jersey Boys," Huey Lewis and the News, KC and the Sunshine Band, Otis Day, the Bonnie Raitt Band, John Cafferty, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and many more. She has collaborated with Dias on several recordings of his new music and with famed sound engineer Dinky Dawson on her second CD, Matter of Time, featuring songs from Dee Dee Stewart, David Pac from Ambrosia, Harriet Schock, and the Mamas & the Papas. A multifaceted artist, she has also been a featured singer with the Cape Cod Symphony and the No Rules Theater Company in Washington, D.C. Her song "Beautiful Child" was adopted by The March of Dimes for its Northeast campaign efforts. Lisa joins Denny, adding a new sound to his inspired songs. They are currently collaborating on a new CD and are planning a tour.
