David Robinson, an 18-year-old singer-songwriter and performer, has been writing his own music since the age of 14. He draws from musical influences such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Kendrick Lamar, and Lauryn Hill in order to give his listeners an unforgettable experience. Robinson takes his inspiration to make music from his grandmother, Connie Black, who was a musical child prodigy, and was asked to tour at the age of five. He wants to ensure that her legacy continues on. Currently, Robinson is working on his sophomore album, which will be released this summer.
