Italian bassist Dario Deidda, a Conservatory of Salerno graduate and bassist with the Kurt Rosenwinkel Trio, presents a look into his technical concepts, improvisation, and his “musical ear” approach, which enhances memorization and organic improvisation. As an electric and double bassist, Deidda has performed with a wide array of artists, including Michel Petrucciani, Vinnie Colaiuta, Randy Brecker, Mulgrew Miller, and George Coleman.
The event is hosted by Sandro Scoccia, assistant chair of the Bass Department at Berklee College of Music.
