BarraSan is a Colombian Latin-jazz guitarist and singer. Born and raised in Bogotá, he decided from a very early age that he wanted to pursue a successful musical career in the Latin American industry. After high school, BarraSan decided to start his musical studies in Nancy, France, under the mentorship of well-known musicians such as Pierre-Alain Goualch, Franck Agulhon, Dominique Di Piazza, and Yannick Robert, all teachers at the Music Academy International. Thanks to the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation, BarraSan could start his musical studies at Berklee College of Music, where he's been able to study with well-known musicians such as Mick Goodrick, Steve Rochinski, Kim Perlak, and Randy Roos, among many others. Currently, BarraSan is working very hard on perfecting his craft as a singer and guitarist, and he is working on recording singles for his future bossa nova and Latin-jazz projects.
