The Boston Art & Music Soul (BAMS) Festival features many students and alumni from Berklee College of Music. The BAMS Festival is focused on building community, supporting independent artists, and providing fair and equal access to the arts in Greater Boston. Featured student and alumni bands include Alonzo Demetrius and the Ego, the Woo Factor, RickExpress, Niya Norwood, and Dom Jones.

Alonzo Demetrius and the Ego is a genre-bending experimental hip-hop group, led by trumpeter Alonzo Demetrius, that seamlessly blends the improvisation and spontaneity of jazz with 808s and other electronic elements of contemporary music.

The Woo Factor is led by singer-songwriter Mark E. Robertson Jr., a.k.a. Sing-Sing, who hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

RickExpress has many distinguished titles—singer, songwriter, composer, producer, pianist, and recording artist. But above all, he is defined by his unconditional passion for music, storytelling and sharing his neo-soul sound with his diverse and rapidly growing fan base.

Niya Norwood is a '90s baby born and raised in the Washington, D.C., area. Her influences include artists such as Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, Prince, Lisa Fischer, and Brandy.

Dom Jones is an artist, singer-songwriter, MC/poet, author, orator, and vocal producer from Oakland, California.
