Blanco White / Josiah and the Bonnevilles
Blanco White started as the solo project of London native Josh Edwards in 2014. After studying guitar in Cádiz, Spain, and later the charango (an Andean instrument) in Sucre, Bolivia, Edwards sought to bring elements of Andalusian and Latin American music alongside influences closer to home.
In early 2016, Blanco White released The Wind Rose, a self-produced debut EP, through Yucatan Records. A second EP, Colder Heavens, was later recorded with producer Ian Grimble (Bear’s Den, Matt Corby, Daughter) and released in 2017.
Having already experienced several lives and multiple record deals in his relatively short career, Josiah Leming is no stranger to the music business, but doesn’t consider himself to be a part of it. He writes songs as a process of self-catharsis, rather than for the entertainment of others. That said, his knack for translating those emotions into artistic expression is winning fans across the world, including singer-songwriter powerhouse LP, who has taken Leming on the road for several of its recent tours. Leming’s group, Josiah and the Bonnevilles, recently released their debut album, On Trial.
