This Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI) forum features Terri Lyne Carrington and Dave Liebman.

Terri Lyne Carrington is a multiple Grammy Award–winning drummer, composer, and producer. After more than 20 years touring with such musicians as Herbie Hancock, Al Jarreau, Stan Getz, David Sanborn, and Cassandra Wilson, she recently returned to her hometown, where she was appointed Zildjian Chair in Performance at Berklee's Global Jazz Institute. 

Saxophonist, composer, and educator Dave Liebman has been featured on nearly 350 recordings and has published several hundred original compositions. He is the founder and artistic director of the International Association of Schools of Jazz.  In 2011, Liebman received the National Endowment for the Arts Masters of Jazz Award, the highest honor for jazz given by the United States government. 

The BGJI is a performance program designed to foster creativity and musicianship through various musical disciplines. The BGJI provides a comprehensive contemporary music environment where students are given opportunities to explore their creativity to the highest level possible, advance the power of music as a tool for the betterment of society, and connect musical creative thinking with the natural environment.
