Berklee's First Israeli Alumni Reunion at Rimon
Rimon School of Music and Berklee College of Music are celebrating the signing of a unique agreement with the Beracha Foundation, which grants scholarships to the best Rimon jazz students who are continuing their studies at Berklee. The celebration’s attendees will include Debbie Bieri, senior advisor for Berklee; Tali Yariv, director of the Beracha Foundation; Amikam Kimelman, head of Rimon; and Yehuda Eder, president and founder of Rimon. The Jazz Institute Band will perform, with Ronen Shmueli serving as music director.
Featured guests include: Sheryl Bailey, guitarist and Berklee faculty member; Gil Dor, guitarist, producer, Berklee alumnus, and Rimon co-founder; Mordy Ferber, guitarist, Berklee alumnus, and Rimon faculty member; Eitan Itzcovich, drummer, Berklee alumnus, and Rimon faculty member; Noa (Achinoam Nini), star Israeli vocalist and graduate of Rimon; Ronen Shmueli, pianist, head of the Rimon Jazz Institute, and an alumnus of both Berklee and Rimon; Simon Starr, bassist and Rimon faculty member; and Tiger Okoshi, trumpeter and Berklee faculty member.
