This week the Berklee Together Quintet, directed by Edmar Colón, will perform “Without a Song,” featuring Akili Bradley on trumpet; Jose Ignacio Santos Aquino on clarinet; Jeansalim Charvet on alto saxophone; Reggie Gordon on guitar; and Devon Gates on bass.
About the Music
Directed by Colón, the quintet performs his arrangement of "Without a Song." Inspired by the countless artists who have performed it, from Sonny Rollins to Bing Crosby to Mahalia Jackson, the quintet brings new life to a classic song of hope and the affirming power of music.
