The Dreamland Theater is proud to collaborate with the Nantucket Film Festival to present a special pre-festival screening of Harold Lloyd’s Safety Last!, featuring a new, original music score composed and performed live by the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra.

Safety Last! (1923), directed and starring comedic genius Harold Lloyd, is widely considered one of the greatest silent film classics of all time and boasts the iconic image of Lloyd dangling from a giant clock on the side of a building with a bustling Los Angeles street below. Safety Last! will be presented in a gorgeous new digital restoration from Janus Films, sourced from an original nitrate print.

The presentation of Safety Last! will follow a screening of the short Emerson College documentary on the creation of the new Berklee score for the film: Punches and Streamers: The Making of a Film Score.
