Berklee and Make Music Happen (MMH) are excited to deliver this virtual event to celebrate the Berklee in Puerto Rico program as we look ahead to our next in-person event in 2022.

Berklee in Puerto Rico: Celebrate, Learn, and Engage (Session 1) is a free online event that will take place on Monday, August 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Participants will enjoy an interactive experience through sessions in which we will celebrate the community, learn from and engage with our faculty and program alumni, and look forward to the future.

This session will feature Luis Alvarez ’83, president of Make Music Happen and founder of the Berklee in Puerto Rico program; Eguie Castrillo, associate professor in the Percussion Department; and Rubén Amador, alumnus and director of the Conservatorio de Artes del Caribe (a Berklee Global Academic Partner); as well as special guest artists and alumni from the program. Be sure to join us for the second session on Friday, August 28, as well.
