TEDx at Berklee's Campus in Valencia, Spain
Berklee College of Music’s campus in Valencia, Spain, will host the fourth edition of TEDxBerkleeValencia. The theme of the event is "unexpected outcomes," and it will feature international leaders, artists, and entrepreneurs like Eduardo Cabra (a.k.a. Visitante), Latin Grammy Award-winning producer of Calle 13; Justina Omokhua, global head of content at Apple Music; Aithan Shapira, leadership strategist and CEO of Making to Think; life-advice expert Liz Pryor; and documentary filmmaker Conci Althouse.
TEDxBerkleeValencia will stream live at Facebook.com/BerkleeValencia between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. EDT.
Berklee students will also participate both as speakers and performers. Matthew Struthers, an exceptional pianist who was born with cerebral palsy, will share his unexpected outcomes of pursuing his passion for music, while bassist and singer-songwriter Satarra, pianist and drummer Rodrigo Andreiuk, singer-songwriter Hugh Macdonald, and experimental instrumental band Alta Tensión will offer performances ranging from soul to electronic music.
TEDxBerkleeValencia is the result of Berklee’s mission to embrace and foster creativity, innovation, and excellence. Since 2014, students from the Global Entertainment and Music Business graduate program at the Valencia campus have organized the event, which has sold out every year.
