Ben Lee

Ben Lee was discovered in his native Australia at age 14, and released his first music via the Beastie Boys’ Grand Royal record label. His 2005 album Awake Is the New Sleep was a worldwide hit, reaching double platinum in Australia. He has produced albums by Margaret Cho, Jill Sobule, the Silver Lake Chorus, and others.

Lee is half of the duo Radnor & Lee, which features actor Josh Radnor (“Ted” on How I Met Your Mother). Along with author Tom Robbins, Lee is working on the stage musical adaptation of Robbins’s B Is for Beer. He will release his anticipated album of ’90s indie rock covers, Quarter Century Classix, in November 2019. Lee lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Ione Skye, and their family.
