Ashley Zarah is an Iranian singer-songwriter hailing from Los Angeles. Her full, resonant voice and edgy, dissonant lyricism has created a self-coined genre (dark pop) that evokes pop and alternative artists such as Lorde, the Neighbourhood, Halsey, and Paramore.
Zarah is driven to teach her generation to speak its truth and live rather than simply survive—proving to audiences no pain is worth the disposal of a life.
