Anastassiya Petrova is a jazz pianist and organist based in Boston. Anastassiya has shared the stage with renowned musicians such as Terri Lyne Carrington, Ben Street, Adam Cruz, Patricia Perez, Marco Pignataro, Ellis Hall, Catherine Russell, Dave Liebman, and others. She has performed at notable international festivals including Eurasia—2010, Umbria Jazz Festival, Wave of Ideas, Panama Percussion Festival, Beantown Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, and Costa Rica Jazz Festival. She also has appeared on TEDx and The Voice in her native Kazakhstan. In 2020 her arrangement of "All the Things Evidence Is" received the Student Downbeat Music Award for Outstanding Arrangement for Small Ensemble in the graduate college division.

After graduating from Berklee in 2019, Anastassiya received a full scholarship to pursue graduate studies at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, studying with renowned musicians John Patitucci, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ben Street, George Garzone, and Adam Cruz.

Anastassiya currently is focused on developing personal projects in a variety of formats, including jazz piano trio, jazz quintet, and organ trio/quartet, giving life to her own compositions of jazz and Kazakh folk songs. She is working on her debut album, Invisible Women, an exploration of female homelessness, featuring organ, piano, and drums.
