Amaury Faye

Amaury Faye is a young, talented jazz musician from France who has performed there as well as in Italy, Spain, Belgium, Israel, and the United States. He studied jazz at a conservatory from 2011 until 2013 and began his studies at Berklee College of Music in 2014. At the same time, he also started a promising career. Faye recorded his first trio album at the age of 19 with Big Moe Trio (2010, Greenworks Production), which has been distributed in France and Japan. In 2011, he joined Initiative H, the project founded and led by French saxophonist David Haudrechy, which released its first album, Deus Ex Machina (2014, Neuklang), and won the Revelation! prize from the famous French magazine Jazzman/Jazzmag. In 2013, Faye was a finalist in two famous French jazz competitions, including Tremplin National de Jazz de la Défense (with Initiative H).
