Alizonia is an expression of original music by Alizon Lissance, an associate professor in the Harmony Department at Berklee College of Music.
Although piano and vocals are the backbone of her work, the addition of special guests Helen Sherrah-Davies on violin, Vessela Stoyanova on mallets, Catherine Bent on cello, and Darcel Wilson and Renese King on vocals will breathe new life into Alizonia, which features a sometimes gutsy, sometimes delicate, blues-infused songbook.
