Join us for a webinar on Alexander Technique. Boston Conservatory at Berklee alumna Holly Cinnamon will help you discover tools to stay present and embodied to deal with increased screen time during quarantine. Learn how to reorient your nervous system to your present surroundings, and find resources wherever you are that support you to feel safe, calm, and grounded. Learn exercises and practices that help your eyes integrate back with your kinesthetic system and consciously see in 3D, a process that can begin to shut down when staring at a 2D glass screen for a long period of time. Reintegrating the visual system is calming and comforting for your nervous system.
After being a yoga teacher for a number of years, Cinnamon began studying Alexander Technique because of her interest in movement. She completed her Alexander Technique teacher training certification at the Conservatory and has taught yoga and Alexander Technique in New York, New York, and Boston, Massachusetts; Toronto, Edmonton and Charlottetown, Canada; Ennis, Ireland; and Kyoto, Japan. She has offered classes and solo sessions at such locations as the Conservatory, Opera Nuova, AT Motion Center for Actors, and Reset Wellness, and Modo Yoga Charlottetown, among others.
