Trained in various styles including classical, jazz, country, and rock, Catherine McDonald has been playing violin for more than 16 years. Her senior recital will feature a combination of all these styles.
Christian Conti bids farewell to Berklee College of Music with an eclectic senior recital. The concert will be an homage to the musical journey Conti has taken over the past five years, and will showcase his music as it has evolved over this time, as well as musicians he has formed meaningful relationships with. The program will feature the quintet that Conti plays with at Wally's Cafe, as well as a big band orchestra, showcasing some of his arrangements of popular songs. The concert will also feature some surprise special guests.
Wyoming-based bassist and rapper Exhorter performs music that summons the roots of hip-hop while also experimenting with the live-musician sound. This recital will feature mostly original compositions from the Exhorter repertoire and a few cover references.
Merging elements of indie, pop, funk, and R&B, Emily Dukes, the Italian singer-songwriter, violinist, pianist, and guitarist, presents an evening of originals and arrangements accompanied by her band and joined by many guests.
