In his jazz composition portfolio, Bruno Peterson presents a concert of original works. The work presented is a result of the life-changing experiences over his past three years at Berklee with the many individuals he’s been so fortunate to interact with, learn from, and grow alongside.
Exploration is a central driving force behind Peterson's life and his work as an artist. Rather than always looking for something completely different or new, the exploration is often about continually revisiting things, each time with a new perspective, and finding new depths in the seemingly tired and old. This music is a snapshot of Bruno's current location along the path, influenced by past life experiences, with written arrangements, but unquestionably connected with the present moment with improvisational elements. Sounds will be a mix of traditional and contemporary jazz, blues, and fusion.
