Silent March for Orlando

Join the silent march on June 26 at 11:00 a.m. to honor those fallen and wounded in the Orlando massacre that occurred on June 12. Bring your friends and march in solidarity to remember those who could not make it to today, and to congratulate those who are here currently, for every battle matters. The march will start at the Christian Science Center on Massachusetts Avenue and will go down Boylston Street to Government Center.

Esplanade Association Volunteer Event

Gracenote volunteers will be working to support the Esplanade Association's mission to revitalize and care for the park’s natural environment and historic character.

Volunteers may help care for the areas vast trees and shrubs (over 1,700), restore perennial beds, work with compost, restore turf and decompact soil, or help remove invasive plants.

The faculty/staff happy hour originally scheduled for June 16 is being postponed until June 30. Instead, the Community-Building Committee encourages everyone to attend the community gathering organized in response to the weekend's horrific events in Orlando. The gathering will take place on Thursday, June 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the David Friend Recital Hall.
