Applying to the Electronic Production and Design Major

Note: The following information is for currently enrolled Berklee students who wish to declare Electronic Production and Design (EPD) as their major. This is not the portal for applying for entry to the college. To apply to the college, please see the Admissions section.

All students enter Berklee with no major, as there is no advance enrollment process for any major. Students apply to a major only after they have begun their studies at Berklee.

Application to the EPD major should be made during spring for admission to the major in summer or fall of the same year, and during fall for admission to the major in spring of the next year. All applications and supporting materials must be submitted to the EPD office via the online application portal, which can only be accessed by enrolled students.

The EPD Application Portal (for Berklee students only) is open from Tuesday, September 6, 2016 until Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Please submit your application before this deadline. There is no access to the application portal outside of this period.

Applicants must submit an essay as well as two media files of their best work when applying, and then be interviewed by EPD faculty before the EPD Department decides on one’s acceptance into the major.

For further information, enrolled students should review the EPD Application FAQ page. Please feel free to email EPD with any questions.

Berklee students who are ready to apply to the EPD Major please go to the EPD Application Portal page.
