Description

The Wes Montgomery ensemble studies and performs the music of Wes Montgomery. In this course, students participate in weekly supervised rehearsals. Students gain experience in performing and interacting with other players in a musical conversation. This course emphasizes hearing and expressing musical ideas with stylistic integrity, as well as melodic, harmonic, and rhythmic accuracy. Good listening skills are required.
