Commencement 2015

A Message from the President

Commencement is one of our favorite times at Berklee--a time when we celebrate new graduates embarking on the next phase of life. It represents the culmination of extraordinary commitment and effort by our students and, at the same time, the nurturing and support of family and loved ones. Commencement is also a time when the college presents honorary doctoral degrees to those who have made outstanding contributions to the field of music. A highlight of each year's festivities is the student concert held the night before commencement, an event that pays tribute to the music and lives of our honorary degree recipients: Julio Iglesias, Doug Morris, Harvey Mason, and Dee Dee Bridgewater.

This section of the website is designed to answer the most frequently asked questions about Berklee's commencement weekend, which will be held this year on May 8-9, 2015. Here you will find a schedule of events, details about invitations and tickets, dining and lodging, directions and parking, along with other helpful suggestions for making this weekend a memorable experience for you and your guests.

You may also enjoy exploring our coverage of past Berklee commencements, including video, photo galleries, press releases, webcasts, addresses, feature stories, interviews, and more.

Sincerely,
