Career and Content Coordinator

Erica BishopErica Bishop is an event and VIP hospitality professional who has been working in the music industry since 2010. She started at Berklee in May 2015 as department coordinator for the Professional Music Department and joined the team in the Career Center in the fall of 2017.

Starting her career in nonprofit development, Bishop held event management roles with the Boston Red Sox and at Northeastern University before taking on the role of Foundation Room supervisor at the House of Blues Boston. In 2013, she moved to Philadelphia and became guest services manager for CID Entertainment, handling guest services for VIP and travel programs for major tours such as Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Phish, and festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Lollapalooza. 

As a non-musician herself, Bishop has always been driven by the desire to help those who can create music to do so. She currently holds positions with the Boston Calling Music Festival and Festival at the Farm, freelances as an event professional throughout the Boston area, and has been selling merchandise for artists—from the local to arena levels—for over seven years, including Alabama Shakes, Charles Bradley, Guns 'N Roses, Taylor Swift, U2, Metallica, and Beyoncé.

Bishop believes that a person's relationships are their strongest tool, and she strives to help students realize and grow their networks and personal skills to the make the most of their potential.
