Partnerships

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and J. Curtis Warner, Berklee's associate vice president of community and government relations, at the 2014 Jazz at the Fort concert in Highland Park

Community and Government Relations aligns the college with local residents, municipal and state agencies, nonprofit organizations, businesses, property owners, elected officials, and other cultural and educational institutions. Through these partnerships, member organizations share stewardship of the community, provide music education programming for local youth, present musical performances in public parks, and include Berklee students, faculty, staff, and alumni in the empowerment of Boston area neighborhoods.
