Waste

Berklee has reduced its total waste and diverted waste from landfills by recycling and composting.

• E-Waste Recycling — Berklee's electronic waste is recycled responsibly by the Institution Recycling Network.
• Limited Printing — To save paper, the college limits free printing in all computer labs.
• Online Materials — The student bulletin and registration manual are both available online (with limited printing). Course schedules are emailed to students before the semester begins.
• Move-Out Waste Reduction — Residence life sponsors a Drop 'N' Swap at the residence halls at the end of the spring and summer semesters to encourage students to trade their cast-offs. Residence life staff donate any leftover material to Goodwill.
