For International Students
Berklee Summer Programs welcomes students from all over the world to join us for the summer.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires that students participating in the Five-Week Summer Performance Program, English as a Second Language Program, Day Sessions, or the Twelve-Week Full-Credit Summer Program apply for an F-1 student visa. If you are participating in the Twelve-Week Full-Credit Summer Program, contact the Office of Admissions for required Form I-20 and visa procedures.
In order to apply for an F-1 student visa, students are required to obtain a Form I-20 from Berklee. Students are encouraged to send the required documents to the Office of Summer Programs as early as possible to ensure that there is enough time to apply for a student visa. Do not enter the U.S. on a tourist visa or a tourist status to participate in the Five-Week Summer Performance Program, English as a Second Language Program, Day Sessions, or the Full-Credit Summer Program.
If you are already in the United States on a different visa status, or hold an F-1 status at another institution, please notify the Office of Summer Programs as soon as possible.
