How do I apply?

Notification of Enrollment
Students will receive an email confirming enrollment within seven to 10 business days. Acceptance packets containing detailed arrival and program information will be mailed starting January 3, 2012. Applicants after January 3 will receive an acceptance packet within four weeks (six weeks for international students) in the postal mail.

International Student Visa Information
International students are required to obtain a valid Form I-20 and F-1 student visa to enroll in this program. You may not participate in the program on a tourist visa. You can find the necessary visa information and related forms here.

Registration and Audition
Saturday, July 7, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.—Check in to the residence hall (if applicable), make any outstanding payments, obtain your student ID, and participate in student orientation activities. Students and parents are welcome to attend a Meet the Directors session.

Sunday, July 8, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.—All participants are required to take a theory and musicianship placement test and participate in an audition. Students of all skill levels will be tested and auditioned, and their classes will be scheduled with participants of similar training and ability. Please be prepared to play a short piece of music no more than two minutes in length.

A concert will follow the testing and auditions. All students staying in the Berklee residence halls are required to attend a housing orientation meeting.
