Prince Charles Alexander Presents Technology of Modern Music Production

Prince Charles Alexander is an associate professor in the Music Production and Engineering department at Berklee College of Music, where he teaches advanced production and mixing. He is a sought after recording and mixing engineer, whose clients include Mary J. Blige, Destiny's Child, Faith Evans, P. Diddy, the Notorious B.I.G., Usher, Boyz II Men, Brandy, Babyface, Sting, Aretha Franklin, Usher, Brian McKnight, and others. Alexander has garnered more than 40 Platinum and Gold certifications from the RIAA and has three Grammies and seven Grammy nominations from NARAS.

Messenger Legacy Clinic

The Messenger Legacy is an elite lineup of former members of one of jazz’s most influential bands, Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers. This configuration features bassist Reggie Workman, alto saxophonist Donald Harrison, trumpeter Brian Lynch, tenor saxophonist Billy Pierce, pianist Donald Brown, and drummer Ralph Peterson. Come hear the group discuss their plan to preserve, protect, and honor the legacy of a man who was much more than a bandleader to all of them.

Media Lab closures this week

The Media Lab will be closed for library research sessions with all of the Writing & Communication classes this week.  Please be prepared to print upstairs in the Learning Center, by having your document emailed to yourself or on a thumb drive.
