Voices ring loud and clear this month, just in time for the holiday season.

You'll have a chance to hear the stars of tomorrow as several student vocalists perform at Singers Showcase.

A midmonth visit from New Orleans–based belter Marva Wright will take our annual gospel concert up a notch, and also this month, jazz vocalist Jane Monheit brings her Christmas songbook to the Berklee Performance Center.

Be a part of one of the biggest nights ever at Berklee. We'll celebrate our 60th birthday in style, in a Wang Center concert hosted by Bill Cosby and produced by Phil Ramone, who has won 12 Grammy Awards for his work as one of the industry's most prolific and creative record producers. A long list of very special guest artists will perform. Check our website in the weeks ahead for details on the performers and information on purchasing tickets.

The Berklee Concert Series

The college's annual live music series returns with performances that will cover the musical gamut. Hear Berklee's best play with some of the world's best.

Berklee's rich pool of vocal talent steps out front on an eclectic night featuring eight talented lead singers. They'll perform the music of legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, Celia Cruz, Aerosmith, Aretha Franklin, and more. Read more...

Reverence Gospel with Marva Wright, December 12

This annual event, featuring Berklee's 53-member Reverence Gospel Ensemble, will raise the Berklee Performance Center roof even higher this year when vocalist Marva Wright travels from the Big Easy to join the group. Read more about the New Orleans Visiting Artist Fund.

The Gift of Strings, December 12

Faculty cellist Eugene Friesen and the 25-piece Berklee String Orchestra present a concert featuring faculty soprano Kathryn Wright and cellist Ron Crutcher, who is a Berklee trustee and the president of Wheaton College. This free, public concert will be held at the David Friend Recital Hall at 7:30 p.m.

Recitals on Campus

The fall semester comes to a close with a long list of eclectic student shows, most of them free. Highlights include the Songwriter Showcase (Dec. 6), the Klezmer/Yiddish Ensemble (Dec. 7), and the Berklee Marimba Concert (Dec. 15). Read more...
