Just because everyone else is on vacation doesn't mean Berklee has quieted down any. In fact, it's more than just the weather that's heating things up around campus. This month, a host of talented performers will take center stage.

The City Music SYSTEM 5 Blowout Concert on August 7 is more than just a way to highlight teen talent from Greater Boston neighborhoods; the evening concludes with the awarding of full-tuition scholarships to six performers. The next night, the Five-Week Summer Performance Program wraps up with a blowout concert of its own, featuring some of the program's best ensembles.

Meanwhile, be sure to catch the free summer shows around town showcasing Berklee faculty and students. Whether you're into jazz, Latin, or fusion, you'll be sure to find something to please your ears.
