Canadian Music CEO Awards Full Scholarship

Samantha Schultz, 17, of Edmonton, Alberta, will enter Berklee in the fall with tuition, housing, fees, and the required laptop covered, thanks to Gary Slaight, president and CEO of Slaight Communications.

Monk Ensemble Debuts at Berklee

That the newest edition of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz Performance Ensemble would make its debut performance at Cafe 939 before heading off for two years of graduate-level studies seems fitting. Five of its six members are Berklee graduates.

Roy Guzman Quintet to Perform at George Wein's Jazz Festival 55
Roy Guzman, a gifted young guitarist, was mentored by Berklee's renowned jazz faculty member, alumnus, and MacArthur Fellow Miguel Zenón, and is the winner of the prestigious Billboard and Jimi Hendrix awards at Berklee.
