Student Profile: Arooj Aftab

Born and raised in Pakistan, Arooj Aftab was an entirely self-taught guitarist in a culture where opportunities for music study—especially for women—are severely limited. When she applied for and was awarded a scholarship from Berkleemusic.com, she had no idea how many doors it would open.
