Eagles, Alison Krauss, Mulatu Astatke to Receive Honorary Degrees at May 12 Commencement
Classic rockers the Eagles; bluegrass virtuoso Alison Krauss; and Ethiopian musician, composer, and arranger Mulatu Astatke '59 will be this year's honorary doctorate recipients at Berklee's May 12 commencement ceremony, at which close to 900 students will graduate. The night before, students will pay tribute to the honorees at a concert for the college community and graduates' families.
Ingrid Jensen Quintet The next installment of the Checkout – Live at Berklee concert series will feature the Ingrid Jensen Quintet. The 1989 alumna is often featured around the globe as a leader and featured soloist on trumpet. Listen to her tune, "At Sea," the title track from her highly regarded ArtistShare release.
