Berklee alumni had a great night at the Grammys last month, with six receiving honors in such diverse categories as Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Best Jazz Instrumental Album, and Best Musical Show Album.

Speaking of Grammys, previous award-winning artists Carly Simon and Billy Taylor were on campus in February. Simon visited the Music Therapy Department and Taylor spoke at the annual Berklee Teachers on Teaching conference, along with inventor and author Ray Kurzweil.

Looking ahead, Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Paula Cole and Berklee students will perform a tribute to Burt Bacharach in March. And multi-Grammy-winner Philip Bailey joins students later in the month in tribute to his group Earth, Wind & Fire.
