Berklee College of Music alumni Daniel Colman, Pablo Munguia, and Brian Riordan can add Emmy Award-winner to their already impressive resumes. The three were among the winners in the Sound Editing and Sound Mixing categories when the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences handed out the 2008-2009 Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards, Saturday, September 12, at the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles.

Colman, a four-time nominee, won the Emmy for his work on Battlestar Galactica. Riordan, who has been nominated for a total of 10 awards since 2003—including four this year—was recognized for his work on the 81st Annual Academy Awards. Munguia was also a member of the winning Academy Awards sound mixing team.

Additionally, South Park creator Trey Parker took home his fourth career Emmy in the category Outstanding Animated Series. Parker has been nominated for a total of nine Emmys for South Park, and was nominated for an Oscar in 1999 for original music from the film South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut. 

The Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards special, hosted by comedian Kathy Griffin, will air on E! Entertainment Television, Friday, September 18, at 1:00 p.m. The 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on Sunday, September 20, at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
