Brazilian pop master Marcos Valle has embraced bossa nova, samba, rock, and fusion over the course of his 50-year recording career. Valle's "So Nice (Summer Samba)" has been recorded by hundreds of artists, including Diana Krall, Oscar Peterson, and Dizzy Gillespie. He has won a host of awards—including Brazil's Leading Composer of the Year, when he was 19—and his music has frequently been featured in film and television.

Marcos Valle Meets Berklee, at the Berklee Performance Center, on December 13, 2012, brings the artist and composer to the college to perform with a large student ensemble.
