When it came time to choose their photographer, Velvet Stylus called on fellow alumnus Al Watkins for a referral. He pointed the band to the best possible choice: Boston-based celebrity photographer Karin Michele Dailey A graduate of Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts (where Velvet Stylus members Darcie-Nicole '01 and James Auburn Tootle '97 taught in the recording program), Karin has photographed a number of celebrity recording artists. These have included John Legend, Rihanna, Elan Trotman '00, New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys (NKOTBSB), Trey Songz, Joe Perry, P!nk, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jewel, John Stamos, Louie and Lisa Bello, and Alice Cooper, to name a few.
