CNN senior political analyst David Gergen visited Berklee's David Friend Recital Hall on October 20 for a discussion about the current political climate with Berklee president Roger H. Brown. Gergen is a professor of public service at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government and director of its Center for Public Leadership, as well as an editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report. He served as an advisor to presidents Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Clinton.

At the clinic, Gergen addressed the challenges that will be addressed by the next president, as well as the qualities that he believes will be necessary to face those challenges, and he exhorted Berklee students not to forget the power of the arts to influence policy. Listen to their discussion.
