Office Harmony
Power Point pop and other Berklee-Microsoft synergies.
October 24, 2003
The marriage of music and technology at Berklee is catching attention again. Last year, Apple Computer sang the praises of the college's student-run label, Heavy Rotation Records, and its use of Macintosh products.
Now it's Microsoft's turn.
The monolithic software company's products have been used in Berklee's Mac-dominated environment for years, and one of its newest offerings, Office v. X for Mac, has been instrumental not only at Heavy Rotation, but all across campus. So much so, that Microsoft visited campus for two days recently to interview students, faculty, and administrators for a web feature on Berklee's use of the product. Among those featured are four students from the Heavy Rotation staff and Berklee's Music Business/Management Chair Don Gorder.
Check out the Berklee stories and videos on the Office v. X for Mac Success Stories section of the Microsoft website.
