Blood, Sweat & Tears at the BPC, October 15

Blood, Sweat & Tears, one of the greatest horn bands in popular music, will perform Thursday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m., at the Berklee Performance Center (BPC), 136 Massachusetts Avenue, Boston. All ticket sales from the concert will fund the Elsie Monica Colomby Scholarship at Berklee, an award named after Blood, Sweat & Tears founder Bobby Colomby's mother, who was an avid patron of the arts. 

A musical institution, Blood Sweat & Tears is best known for its signature fusion of rock, blues, pop, horn arrangement, and jazz improvisation. Founded in 1968, BS&T has an alumni roster that reads like a who's who of the world's greatest jazz and rock musicians. The band has earned three Grammy Awards—including Album of the Year in 1970—10 Grammy nominations, and multiple gold albums. For more information, visit the band's website
