The Berklee Monterey Quartet (2007)

Each year, for more than a decade, the Monterey Jazz Festival has presented a new group of Berklee's finest student performers and composers, the Berklee Monterey Quartet. The BMQ's annual performaces are eagerly anticipated on the storied festival grounds and heard by standing-room only crowds. Tours and radio concerts have brought each new edition of the group acclaim across the United States. Former BMQ members have gone on to perform and record with Terence Blachard, Gary Burton, Mariah Carey, Roy Haynes, John Mayer, the Mingus Big Band, Meshell Ndegeocello, Prince, John Scofield, and Steps Ahead, among many others.
