Logic User Group: Presented by Berklee alumnus Ralph Kinscheck and EPD student Jeremy Fonseca

The Logic User Group at Berklee started a few semesters ago. They discuss topics on music production, MIDI sequencing, audio recording and editing in Logic. All are welcome, beginners and experts alike.
Berklee alumnus Ralph Kinscheck is a teacher/trainer, keyboardist, performer/recording artist, audio engineer, video producer, technician, and businessman/entrepreneur.
As an Apple-certified Logic master trainer Kinscheck has taught classes up and down the East Coast, given clinics, and worked with all types of clients from local studio owners to editors from NESN, Comcast, and Hasbro. He is also cofounder of the Boston Logic Users Group.
Kinscheck has been in the music industry for over 30 years performing live and in the studio as a keyboardist as well as taking on management duties. He got his start in the Chicago area and having played the club circuit there and gaining local fame, Kinscheck eventually moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music. Since coming to Berklee he has performed throughout the New England area and taken part in a few recording projects that won local acclaim. His current project is a CD released on his own Jharck Records label, Grace with Jazz on Top.
He has run sound for events all over Boston including the Garden and Lowell Auditorium; produced CDs in various studios around Bostonand at his local home studio; and done sound design for various independent film releases.
For the last 10-plus years, Kinscheck has been producing videos for clients and lately or Berklee's Electronic Production and Design Department, where he works as a lab monitor.
As a technician, he consults for various studios and independent producers throughout the Boston area.
Since 1998 Kinscheck has run Kinscheck Productions (KiP), a local production company in Massachusetts providing all the services mentioned above.
Jeremy Fonseca, a sixth semester student at Berklee, is a pianist, producer, and electronica artist from Mumbai, India.
Fonseca started the Logic Users Group at Berklee with EPD staff and alumni Ralph Kinscheck in fall 2010.
In 2011 he scored and synthesized sound design sounds for a Brazilian gaming firm, and since then has been working on new sounds for their games on the iPad and Nintendo-DS platforms.
Fonseca plays for a progressive rock band, the Hoodwink Circle, in Mumbai. Currently, he is producing and recording songs for two new album projects—fusion music and goa psychedelic trance—while comepleting his studies at Berklee.
