The Process for Prospective Internship Supervisors

Prospective internship supervisors should submit an internship description to the Office of Experiential Learning via our online database. Student resumes are forwarded through the online database via email to the contact designated by the employer, or mailed by the student, at which point it is up to the employer to select the appropriate candidates for interviewing and hiring. It is important for all parties to keep in contact with the OEL.

  • Select as many majors as possible. (When students run their searches, it is important for your organization to appear in all applicable search criteria.)
  • Indicate if the internships are paid or unpaid.
  • Select the contact (recruiter) that is responsible for reviewing the applicants.
  • If there are many internship opportunities at your organization, consider creating multiple postings.
