This optional one day orientation session is designed for students beginning their Berklee careers in Fall 2008 who will NOT be living on campus. Students will learn valuable information about apartment hunting and living in Boston. Attendees will also get a taste of Berklee's culture, hear from current students about their experiences locating safe, affordable, and convenient off campus housing, and network with fellow incoming students to potentially leave with contact information for future roommates! | Looking for roommates for a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment. Rent is $625 a month plus utilities, which is usually around $50-$70 depending on the season (includes internet and cable). The lease is for one year and starts in September (subletting is also possible). Only catch is that you'll be sharing the largest room in the apartment (thats how we keep the rent so low for the neighborhood). The apartment is a 5 minute walk to Berklee, as well as a 5 minute walk to the Hynes T stop on Mass Ave. Your room will be furnished with your own bed and desk. Alright here's the deal: I'm leaving for the summer semester and i am subletting my room. This is a GREAT room and it is being offered this cheap only because of the season, it actually has a far greater value than the said rent. the place is right off the Allston St T stop (literally about 30 seconds walk). It is a sublet, so it will only be available for the summer semester. The room is part of a big, nice, and clean 6 floor house, and you'll only be living with 2 to 4 people At Most. The room comes fully furnished with a bed, a big desk, a nice studio chair, and 2 other small desks amongst other stuff. The room has also a big walk-in closet and has a bathroom and laundry machine just in front it. It really is like by yourself because the house is so huge, and the rest of the people are barely home anyways, really a great place. You will only pay 700$ a month. thats ALL that you pay!! all utilities included, internet and cable included. You can move in from may 12 ( and have the rest of the month free!). | I have a room for rent in a spacious split (a bedroom and a living room turned into two bedrooms) available starting May 12th or June until the end of August on Hemenway st. which is very close to the Northeastern and Berklee campuses. The apartment is half a block from the Berklee 1140 building and a couple mins walk to the main Berklee building on 150 Mass ave. The area that that this apartment is in is called Back Bay. The Charles river is a couple of blocks north and the Boston Commons is a short walk east. Fenway is very close to the west (you can see the lights at night!). Whole foods is right down the street in the opposite direction of the Charles river and there are tons of places to eat or get anything you might need on Boylston and Mass ave a block away from the apartment. The closest T stop is the green line, a couple blocks away at Hynes Convention Center. The rent is 825 plus utilities. My roommate will sublet his room during the summer to a Berklee student for the summer semester. Kitchen, bathroom, and small walk in hallway/living room space.
