"Berklee is probably the only institution in the world nurturing the aspirations and latent creative talent found in students from all parts of the world, some of whom rely on the donations made by faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and other sources. For this reason, I would urge other faculty to follow the lead of those now making contributions. I have been a strong part of Berklee On The Road and Berklee International Networks, and I have found the financial need for funds aiding students to be very important part. This is the reason that I give.

Associate Professor of Percussion Kenwood Dennard '76
"Berklee College of Music does not happen by magic. It depends partly on the kindness of alumni to function financially. As a student, I was so happy about my experience with my private instructor at Berklee, Alan Dawson, and I have been giving every year in his memory."
